The endeavours of involved individuals generated ties with like-minded people from different fields of expertise over longer than a decade. In Derdepoort and in collaboration with Solidarity Helping Hand we identified a group of 15 females and trained them to improve their handwork skills. The Trust developed the “BokkieBlou” brand of textile products to create income streams for this impoverished group of elderly women.
