UMMA AFRIKA Charity Trust have made various donations to the Tshuhabana Feeding Scheme on the Eastern Side of Mamelodi since September 2022.
This Scheme was started by a Social Worker in the area, who noticed 4 small children scratching in rubbish bins for food. She started to feed the children on a regular basis from her home out of her own pocket, but the numbers grew so fast , that she had to start asking for donations in order to get all of the hungry little one’s fed.
Currently more than 80 children benefit from this Feeding Scheme on a daily basis and as poverty becomes more of a challenge the numbers will definitely grow .
